Chinese tech giant ByteDance's video editing app CapCut will no longer offer free cloud storage from August 5. In the past few days, users have received notifications about changes to the terms of use of CapCut Free. Until now, the company was giving free 1 GB cloud storage for saving files to users. It is no longer there. Users will now have to pay for cloud storage on CapCut. News TechCrunch.

Capcut said 100GB of storage will cost $2.49 per month and $7.49 per month for 1000GB. That means video editors will have to purchase additional space or storage or share their files through another cloud service provider.

While the app was free for users to run, one account could also have up to five collaborators. Now that benefit is also being reduced.
